This morning, Mr. Mohamed Al-Hangari, Chairman of the Libyan Export Development Authority, visited the company’s headquarters accompanied by a number of officials.

He was received by the Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors, Dr. Mohamed Abdelmalek Al-Faqih, along with several company executives.

A comprehensive meeting was held, addressing a number of topics related to local products and their support, while stressing the importance of Libyan factories and companies. Discussions focused on overcoming the challenges they face, whether in terms of legislation or creating a suitable environment for exporting their products to global markets.

Mr. Al-Hangari emphasized that the company’s factories serve as a model in crisis management, especially considering that many public companies have become obsolete due to the challenges they encountered. He stated:
“We are here today to reaffirm the need to facilitate the export procedures for the company’s products and to work on meeting all requirements for their entry into European markets. We must also work together to regulate scrap metal exports abroad and prioritize the company in this regard.”

In return, Dr. Al-Faqih appreciated the visit, considering it an important opportunity to convey messages that safeguard the rights of the national product and provide the necessary protection for its continued constructive operation.

At the end of the visit, a meeting report was agreed upon, summarizing the outcomes and to be submitted to the relevant authorities for approval.
